• Overseeing organization’s engagement with external media • Protecting College Board’s reputation • Developing and executing media strategies • Coaching and developing media relations team • Managing media relations team’s relationship with outside agencies
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, or related field required • Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible work experience in public relations, journalism, public affairs or a related field required • Background that includes direct support of a prominent principal (client/elected official/candidate) • Extensive experience working with members of large media outlets; international experience preferred • Experience in crisis communications and issues management
