• Assist in resolving technical geodata issues, such as shapefile errors. • Help the Certification team answer geospatial questions. • Collect, organise, and process spatial data, ensuring it is ready for analysis. • Compile reports and perform map analysis to provide actionable insights. • Use GIS techniques to analyse spatial data and generate visualisations. • Assist the Certification team by resolving geodata issues and answering queries. • Collaborate with the Data team to ensure high-quality data processing. • Achieve full autonomy in managing certification requests within six months.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Bioengineering, Geography, or Geomatics with an environmental focus. • Experience with QGIS or similar tools (e.g., ArcGIS, FME). • Proficient in Python, especially libraries like GeoPandas, Shapely, GDAL, Rasterio, and GEE. • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Excellent attention to detail for quality assurance and report accuracy. • Eager to learn new technologies and concepts. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team. • Fluency in English (B2 level or higher); additional languages are a plus. • Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace and Notion. • A keen interest in environmental issues and a foundational understanding of Carbon Markets is a plus.
