• Lead, mentor, supervise and inspire the art team to create top games. • Provide feedback to the artists, with a focus on artistic execution and technical specifications. • Maintain a well working and healthy team. • Convey and champion the art direction to marketing and external partners. • Compile or produce reference material that guides the artists in their work. • Make presentations regarding art direction, process, goals and results. • Take part in creating plans for staffing, tasks, timelines and budgets. • Provide feedback to artists and external partners.
• Approximately 8+ years of relevant experience. • Experience and strong knowledge in Unreal Engine 5. • Released commercial projects. • A broad understanding of visual tools and methods in game development. • Management and control of various teams of artists. • Team management skills. • Strong understanding of art pipelines and workflows. • Collaboration with art team members. • Contribute to rapid and early visualization efforts. • Promote a positive and open environment. • Partner with art management on hiring plans. • Drive and represent various art disciplines. • Evaluate and provide feedback on internal and external artwork. • Mentor, coach, and provide constructive critique to team members. • Plan and manage deliverables, including scoping, timing, and cost estimation. • Develop technical documentation to support visual direction. • Advanced or at least Upper Intermediate English. • Passion for games and game industry.
