📋 Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst with in-depth knowledge of the commercial insurance business to join our team. • The successful candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. • Ensure that our BI project aligns with strategic objectives and delivers value to stakeholders. • The project scope is data warehousing of global commercial insurance data, powered by Microsoft Azure, specifically Synapse and PowerBI. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to commercial insurance. • Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and user stories for the development team. • Conduct thorough analysis of current processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization. • Facilitate workshops and meetings with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals. • Provide expertise and insights into commercial insurance products, underwriting, claims, and policy management. • Work closely with data engineers, Power BI developers, and other technical teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements. • Assist in the design and implementation of dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights into commercial insurance operations. • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate that solutions meet business needs and quality standards. • Maintain and update documentation related to business analysis processes and project deliverables.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field • A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on commercial insurance • In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, processes, and regulatory requirements • Proven experience in translating business requirements into technical specifications • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex business needs • Familiarity with BI tools and data visualization concepts is a plus • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA is desirable • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams • Advanced degree or certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) • German language, nice to have
