• Collaborates with CDI and coding leadership to improve clinical documentation and coding accuracy • Trains providers and clinical documentation specialists on documentation best practices
Requirements
• Associate's Degree in nursing or Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare-related program or Doctorate from an accredited medical school required • Certification as a Clinical Document Specialist and Documentation Improvement Practitioner required • Minimum 2 years working in an acute care setting as a Clinical Documentation Specialist required • Minimum 5 years healthcare experience required
