• Are you an impact-driven problem solver who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others while contributing to a successful business? • Join Carewell to create impactful solutions for caregivers and their unique challenges. • Looking for hardworking individuals committed to raising the bar and striving for impact, scalability, and simplicity. • We seek a highly motivated and experienced Sr. QA Automation Engineer to lead our quality assurance efforts at Carewell.com. • The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality software that enhances the lives of our users, their families, and caregivers. • You will report to the VP of Engineering and play a critical role in ensuring our storefront is reliable, user-friendly, and meets the highest standards of excellence. • Your expertise will get us from infrequent deployments to weekly and daily. • Design, develop, and implement robust automated testing frameworks and scripts for our e-commerce platform. • Be a vocal advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle. • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure quality is baked into every stage of the process. • Perform thorough manual testing when necessary to supplement automated tests, particularly for exploratory testing, usability testing, and edge cases. • Contribute to developing and evolving our QA strategy and help define testing methodologies. • Design and execute performance tests to ensure the platform's scalability and reliability under various load conditions. • Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test plans, and automation frameworks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in automation quality assurance, with a strong emphasis on web application testing. • Proven expertise in Typescript, with a solid understanding of React, Node.js, and modern JavaScript frameworks. • Extensive experience with manual and automated testing methodologies and tools. • Experience creating and managing automated tests using tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar. • Proficiency in API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar. • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. • Meticulous record-keeping and documentation practices to ensure a clear and auditable history of releases, changes, and test results. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Proficiency in project management and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
