Description

• Manage and analyze risk exposures of hedge fund platform, QMAP. • Tailor comprehensive risk management strategies for digital asset investment portfolios. • Assess and manage risks across market, credit, liquidity, counterparty, and operational dimensions. • Evaluate impact of extreme market events on portfolio performance, focusing on cryptocurrency volatility. • Work closely with portfolio managers and finance teams for risk management integration. • Deliver insightful risk assessments to various committees, focusing on digital asset exposures. • Employ big data and machine learning techniques for portfolio performance assessment. • Create and refine quantitative models for forecasting risks and optimizing asset allocation. • Ensure robust data pipelines for efficient analysis and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field); preference for an advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) with a focus on digital assets or quantitative finance. • CFA, FRM, or PRM desirable • 3-5 years of experience in risk management, portfolio analytics, or a related field within hedge funds, asset management, or financial technology (FinTech) preferably an emphasis on digital assets. • Proficiency in data analytics tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and Excel. • Experience with industry-standard risk management systems and software (e.g., Bloomberg, RiskMetrics, MATLAB). • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights. • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proactive approach to risk management and data analysis in the rapidly evolving crypto market. • In-depth knowledge of cryptocurrency markets and blockchain technology is preferred. • Ability to adapt traditional risk management techniques to the unique challenges and opportunities presented by digital assets. • Entrepreneurial spirit, curiosity about new technologies, and a passion for staying ahead in a rapidly changing market environment.
