📋 Description
• Lead and oversee the maintenance and performance of Carrier owned tooling • Responsible for CAPEX budget, develop and implement strategies for tooling reliability • Maximize uptime, investigate new product tooling, optimize supplier capabilities • Act as the central point of contact for all Carrier tooling assets at vendors supporting plant operations in the US and Mexico
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelors’ degree • 5+ years of experience in tooling management (predictive/preventative/repairs/assessment/budgeting) • 2+ years of experience in supplier auditing or supplier quality engineering • Proficiency in Excel and Access • Project Management • Negotiation skills • Tooling design knowledge • Drawing interpretation skills • Material management/planning/scheduling skills • Manufacturing processes, i.e., steel fab (soft tool and hard tool) and plastic (thermoformed, injection, compression, and extrusion)
