📋 Description

• Carrot is seeking a results-driven Director of Communications with a passion for storytelling and strong PR experience. • Lead Carrot’s external communications strategy under the direction of the VP of Marketing. • Develop and implement communication strategies to ensure that unified, consistent, and positive messages define and promote Carrot’s mission — fertility care for all. • Work closely with cross-functional partners, including executive leaders, customer success, commercial, product, and other teams. • This role is an opportunity to shape Carrot’s communication strategy while working alongside experts in healthcare, technology, and marketing.

🎯 Requirements

• 10-12 years of communications experience, including executive thought leadership, earned and owned media, etc. • Strong media relationships across business, trade, and consumer outlets • Exceptional communicator with excellent writing skills and attention to detail • Ability to distill complex data and research into clear, compelling content • Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in healthcare and media • Excellent organizational and project management skills and ability to meet deadlines • Comfort with the ambiguity inherent in a fast-paced startup environment • Experience in healthcare and/or workplace benefits (preferred) • Global PR background (preferred) • Experience managing external partners, including PR agencies and freelance writers (preferred) • Crisis and issues management experience (preferred) • In-house PR or media experience (preferred)
