• At Castor, we are committed to a world with faster, smarter, medical research. • Our cloud based software solutions are revolutionizing data capture for academic and commercial clinical researchers worldwide. • You have found yourself a company with a true purpose. • As Software Engineering Manager (Data), you will have the technical expertise to define, scope, refine and deliver projects. • You will use your skills to provide technical leadership for these projects and also to manage a team of Engineers to meet the goals you set. • You will have responsibility to set and manage your team’s goals, contribute to product strategy and align with other teams. • You will understand and optimize overall team performance and help individuals to develop under your leadership. • Compliance with industry standards is an essential part of Castor’s business, you will have a responsibility to understand, and operate within these standards with the goal of continuously improving the team’s quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience • 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages (e.g. C++, Java, Typescript, C# and/or PHP/Python) • 1 year of technical leadership and project delivery experience in a cloud native environment. • Demonstrated experience in managing technical teams, including performance management, engineering growth and some hiring. • An understanding of software engineering & system engineering best practices to achieve scalable, maintainable, high quality, software and services; • Excellent level of English, both verbal and written.
