• Teaching role for PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision program • Focuses on instruction, assessment of student learning outcomes, and program evaluation • Requires blending of synchronous and asynchronous teaching formats • Opportunities for professional development and engagement in university activities
• Doctoral degree in counselor education and supervision, preferably from a CACREP accredited program • Minimum 3-4 years of teaching experience in the graduate level counseling program • Clinical experience appropriate for graduate and doctoral level instruction • Appropriate certification and/or licensure (e.g., LPC, LMHC) • Knowledge and demonstrated application of adult learning theory in the classroom • A record of active scholarship, including peer-reviewed publications and presentations at professional conferences • Knowledge of ethical standards of practice for professional counseling and counselor education and supervision • Superior oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills • Ability to work cooperatively within the CCU community • Desire to be proficient in technological course assets and proficiency in appropriate Microsoft Office software is required
