Description

•The CDC Foundation helps the CDC save and improve lives through collaboration. •The Project Manager will support the Emerging Infections Program at NMDOH. •Responsibilities include site visits to promote public health surveillance and specimen capture. •Project management processes and methodologies to ensure timely and budget-friendly project delivery. •Coordinate communication with all areas impacting project scope, budget, risk, and resources. •Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable insurance coverage.

Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in public health or other related field. •At least 5-7 years’ experience in project management. •Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills. •Skills and demonstrated experience in project management, cultural awareness, health equity, creative problem solving, and innovation. •Strong technical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint), and SharePoint. •Extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, as well as resource management practices. •Excellent judgment and decision making, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail, and business acumen to accomplish project goals and strategic objectives. •Ability to manage multiple timelines, thrive in a complex environment, and successfully address competing priorities. •Possesses a valid, current Driver’s License, automobile insurance, and reliable private transport.
