Description

• Prepare P&L reports as well as provide assistance in the review of financial results and the preparation of the financial analysis package. • Support a combination of reporting and analysis functions and assist in the development of key indicators/ratios to better analyze financial results. • Use Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to create financial statements, donor reports, income statements, and balance sheets, while ensuring accurate financial reporting for various departments and management. • Analyze financial data by collecting, monitoring, and creating financial models for decision support. • Prepare documentation that reflects the company's financial standing. • Compile information that is issued to internal and external sources and is used to create budgets and conduct audits. • Guide the cost analysis process by highlighting & enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts with related explanations and recommending actions. • Data mining, business intelligence • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance – MBA in Finance preferred • Must have strong analytical (quantitative as well as qualitative) skills including building models; expert at data mining. • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required; familiarity with data query/data management tools extremely helpful (Access, SQL, Business Objects) • Proven experience with NetSuite and Adaptive Insights or other robust planning, budgeting and forecasting applications. • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response. • Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Forward-looking thinker, who actively seeks the next challenge and proposes solutions. • Excellent management skills, including organizational and time management skills. • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment • Proven track record of consistently meeting performance metrics
