📋 Description

• The CDC Foundation helps the CDC save and improve lives through collaboration. • The Systems Architect will design and oversee complex technical solutions. • Position is linked to the Workforce Acceleration Initiative (WAI). • Focus on cloud storage and computing for public health data analysis. • Collaborate with RIDOH’s Division of State Laboratories.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field is preferred. • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in system architecture. • Hands-on experience designing modern architectural patterns. • Expert level understanding of cloud-based solutions (AWS or Azure preferred). • Knowledge of technical security and product management best practices. • Experience designing automated test scripts for various testing types. • Proven experience applying software engineering best practices. • Ability to develop architectural solutions for complex plans. • Hands-on knowledge of programming languages including Python, Java, JavaScript, and Node.js.
