Description

• Collaborate with the network team to manage and support numerous POP networks and ISPs worldwide • Support BGP and IGP network operations, including troubleshooting and administration of devices, networks, and traffic • Manage day-to-day service operations in the EMEA region • Plan and lead key network improvement projects • Build POPs and support new product launches • Develop and enhance global standards, policies, and procedures to ensure reliable operations

Requirements

• Malaysian only • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related technical discipline • Certification such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Huawei will be added advantage • Approximately 3 years of experience managing a large-scale, highly-distributed service network for 24x7 production • Over 3 years of hands-on experience configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting BGP networks with more than five (5) POPs/locations • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, VPN, etc.) and Ethernet troubleshooting tools and methods (e.g., Wireshark, tcpdump) • Extensive experience with layer 3 routing (e.g., OSPF) and layer 2 switching (e.g., VLAN, spanning tree) • Familiarity with enterprise networking tools (e.g., Splunk) and processes (e.g., change management, incident management) in a cloud services environment • Detail-oriented, process-focused, and inquisitive with a high degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and strong teamwork abilities
