• Manage Client’s bids (RFQ, RFP) accordingly to the T&Cs of the bid. • Coordinate discussions between internal contributors, assign deadlines to individual stakeholders, and prepare responses in a timely manner. • Distill customer needs into action-oriented deliverables using the Project Intake Form (PIF) by Business Development. • Coordinate with the Subject Matter Experts (SME), as needed, to develop and draft a custom Scope of Work (“SOW”). • Manage the computation of labor resources and costing following price indicators. • Coordinate with Executive Leadership for special price approvals on behalf of Business Development. • Meet deadlines by being capable of prioritizing responsibilities and balancing workload. • Work with the commercial leads to prioritize proposals during times of high volume. • Evaluate technical requirements and distill customer needs into creative solutions and action-oriented deliverables. • When needed, interface directly with customers to answer questions relating to the proposals/RFP and/or refine the scope of work. • Attend project hand-off meetings with the Sales Support team to provide the necessary project information for the execution team. • Monitor and maintain the Proposal ID Tracker and CRM tool for an up-to-date status of each request. • Analyze feedback received from clients and the sales organization to improve future proposals and your approach. • Be proactive at proposing solutions and improvements for business processes and procedures. • Be hands-on with your approach to knowledge development to become a key contributor in meetings with contributors and develop new proposal writing skills. • Coordinate with Sr. Manager of Sales Operations to maintain the CEA Library up to date.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or relevant technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience (4+ years experience). • Minimum of 2+ years of technical background in a customer-facing role in a technical field. • Minimum of 2+ years in a customer-facing role; in the Renewable Energy industry is preferred. • Direct renewable energy industry (and especially solar or storage) work experience is a plus. • Experience writing proposals and developing scopes of work. • Proactive behavior, “Can do”/“Get it done” attitude. • Excellent verbal and technical writing skills in English. • Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment. • Must be self-motivated with an ability to balance multiple projects under tight deadlines. • Possess good problem-solving, organizational skills, and exceptional attention to detail. • Skilled in multitasking and concurrently managing multiple projects. • Knowledge of CRM software, specifically Hubspot and/or Deltek is a plus. • Strong interpersonal skills and experience in working with interdisciplinary teams of colleagues and external parties.
