Description

• Planning and developing bioinformatic toolchains and pipeline for NGS diagnostics. • Requirements analysis, design, development, testing and documentation of software. • Planning of software architecture. • Ensuring a high quality of the developed software and the corresponding documentation. • Cooperation with the stakeholders of the specialist departments, project Manager and Business Partner. • Quality assurance of documents and source code. • Participation in the performance improvement of large data sets.

Requirements

• A doctorate degree (with +3 years work experience) or master degree (with +5 years work experience in the field) in Bioinformatics, computer science or related field. • Strong hands-on programing skills in C++ or Python. • Several years of professional experience in the entire life cycle of software and database development including documentation. • Preferably background in Biology, Medicine or Genetics. • NGS knowledge is a plus. • Enthusiasm and self-motivation. • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, combined with good team spirit. • Ability to set priorities, meet timelines and company objectives.
