Description

• Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites from concept to deployment. • Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project specifications. • Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketers to translate designs into functional and visually appealing websites. • Optimize website performance, including speed and scalability. • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. • Perform regular updates, backups, and troubleshooting for existing WordPress sites. • Implement responsive design solutions for mobile and cross-browser compatibility. • Maintain strong security measures to protect sites from vulnerabilities. • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs as they arise. • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or related applicable experience considered in lieu of degree • 6+ years of experience • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (3+ years preferred). • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. • Strong experience with WordPress themes, plugins, and customization. • Experience with responsive and mobile-first design practices. • Knowledge of website optimization techniques (e.g., SEO, performance tuning). • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
