Description
• We are looking for a competent Volunteer Recruiter to support departmental planning recruiting, onboarding, off-boarding and monitoring the recruiting progress. • They will also assist in developing and implementing plans and goals for the department along with conducting orientations for new team members. • They will work with the Administration Manager to coordinate and supervise daily operations. • Major Responsibilities: Identifying future hiring needs, Assist with designing job descriptions, Sourcing candidates through databases and social media, Assist with conducting interviews, Assist with conducting orientations, Filing paperwork, Keep abreast of employment law and legislation, Conduct background checks (utilizing iCHAT), Attend hiring events and job fairs (if necessary)
Requirements
• Understanding of the issue, or willingness to learn, about human trafficking • Alignment with Centurions’ purpose, mission, vision and values • Writing and typing skills • Excellent organizational and leadership skills • Familiarity with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office • Familiarity with Google Drive cloud file organization and storage • Experience with tracking the recruiting process • Non-profit experience (preferred but not required) • Must reside in the state of Michigan
