Description

• You will contribute to the design, development, scaling, and maintenance of the infrastructure powering our product pipelines, data stores, query engines, and internal APIs. • You will build and deploy infrastructure in the cloud using infrastructure as code (IaC) techniques. • You will be managing a team of three geographically distributed Infrastructure Engineers, help plan and run their scrum • Lead and contribute to systems engineering, administration, performance optimization and maintenance of operating systems, networking, configuration management, observability, container workload management, and various distributed computing technologies. • You will participate in an engineering on call rotation to monitor and maintain the health of our production systems.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a DevOps/SRE/Production Engineer or similar • Experience working with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) • Strong and production level Python and Bash is essential • Experience working with and deploying cloud-based architecture on AWS is a requirement • Experience working with and developing observability tools (time series databases, etc.) • Experience operating ElasticSearch or other distributed databases • A passion for automated, scalable, and repeatable infrastructure (IaC, config management, etc.) • An appreciation for system uptime and performance • Good communication skills and a desire to mentor engineers on the team
