📋 Description
• As a Software Tester at Checkfirst, you will play a crucial role in upholding the reliability, functionality, and overall quality of our software products. • You will collaborate closely with our development and design teams to identify, report, and track issues, significantly contributing to the continuous improvement of our software development processes. • Your responsibilities will encompass: • Conducting meticulous manual testing of our Checkfirst Flutter mobile app, React Dashboard, and NestJS backend to identify and meticulously report software defects and anomalies. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to comprehend project requirements and user stories, translating them into comprehensive test cases and scenarios that leave no stone unturned. • Skillfully performing API testing to verify the functionality, performance, and security of our backend services. • Crafting clear and precise bug reports, encompassing steps to replicate, anticipated outcomes, and actual results. • Actively participating in requirement and design reviews to provide invaluable insights from a testing perspective. • Assisting in the development and upkeep of test documentation, including test plans, test scripts, and test data that adhere to the highest standards. • Contributing to the evolution of automated test cases and the enhancement of our testing frameworks. • Collaborating closely with developers to replicate and validate reported issues, ultimately verifying the efficacy of fixes.
🎯 Requirements
• Demonstrable expertise in software testing, including mobile app testing and web application testing, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks. • Proficiency in API testing and a proven track record of leveraging tools like Postman or equivalent. • A robust understanding of software testing methodologies, testing types, and best practices that guide your meticulous approach. • A foundational understanding of programming concepts, enabling you to proficiently write and comprehend test scripts. • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze situations critically, presenting solutions that elevate our products. • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills that allow you to articulate issues clearly and collaborate seamlessly with team members. • An innate attention to detail, coupled with an unyielding commitment to delivering software products of the highest quality. • Experience with Flutter, React, or NestJS is an added advantage that showcases your versatility. • Relevant certifications such as ISTQB certification are a strong plus, underscoring your commitment to excellence.
