📋 Description
• Join Checkmate Live to build real-time, immersive systems for competitive play. • Collaborate with the Australian Artificial Intelligence Institute (AAII) to develop interactive interfaces. • Develop AI-powered anti-cheat tools and low-latency streaming workflows. • Lead technical direction or contribute as a core developer across frontend, backend, and real-time APIs. • Prototype new technologies and ensure a seamless player experience across devices. • Expertise in server-side and client-side optimization and automation is key to strengthening anti-cheat capabilities.
🎯 Requirements
• 3+ years of full-stack experience with React, Node.js, TypeScript, and Express.js/ Next.JS • Experience with cloud-based platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes. • Knowledge of game mechanics, esports, competitive gaming and streaming • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform). • Interest in decentralized storage solutions (e.g., Arweave). • Proficiency with GitLab CI for continuous delivery pipelines. • Strong knowledge of real-time protocols like WebRTC and Kafka • Comfortable with challenges and having a solution-focused, divergent mindset. • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams. • Background in anti-cheat development, white hat hacking, iGaming, esports, fintech, fraud prevention, or real-time applications. • Desirable: Experience with MLOps tools and practices for AI model deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
