Description

• As a Security and Compliance Manager, you will be involved in all aspects of security and compliance best practice. • Your responsibilities will include the development, implementation and continuous improvement of security and compliance processes proactively working with stakeholders across the business to secure accreditations, identify and manage risks and vulnerabilities through to effective conclusion. • Working closely with key stakeholders at all levels, you will need to identify gaps in process and implement best practice security and compliance business-wide for our global business. • This will include working with third party pen testers, ISO auditors, customers, the internal engineering team and HR to roll out appropriate policies and training initiatives where appropriate.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in a Compliance, Risk Management, or Cybersecurity role • Strong understanding of information security and privacy standards and best practices related to data confidentiality and integrity • Excellent analytical, data visualisation, and communication skills • Detailed knowledge of common information security management frameworks, regulatory requirements and applicable standards such as: ISO 27001/2, ISO 9001, NIST, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI, SOX, etc. • Be articulate, assertive, and persuasive with the ability to use appropriate communication channels, adapting style and approach to suit the audience. • Able to build effective relationships at all levels • Planning and definition capability with a pragmatic approach • Attention to detail, meticulous with a desire to embed security and compliance business-wide • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, confident in dealing across the organisation. • Strong listening and questioning skills. • Strong analytical and facilitation skills to ensure business needs and effective solutions can be clearly and rapidly understood and delivered. • Highly productive with optimal time management skills • Highly motivated self-starter with high levels of resilience and the ability to succeed in a fast paced, changing environment, working both independently and as a part of a team
