Description

• As IT Security and Compliance Manager, involved in all aspects of IT, security and compliance best practices. • Develop, implement and continuously improve IT, security and compliance processes within agreed budgets. • Work with IT manager and stakeholders to secure accreditations, identify, manage risks and vulnerabilities. • Drive best practice for IT security and compliance across the global business. • Identify gaps in process and implement best practices. • Collaborate with third party testers, NIST and ISO auditors, customers, and internal teams to initiate policies and training initiatives. • Review and update current IT, security and privacy policies. • Manage and lead the IT team, ensuring improvements in processes and performance. • Oversee the implementation of new security and compliance policies reflecting best practices in strategic markets. • Conduct assessments and audits to measure compliance, data protection, and security system efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, IT, or related field • Over 5 years of experience in a Compliance, Risk Management, or Cybersecurity role, including experience of wider IT management. • Strong understanding of information security and privacy standards and best practices related to data confidentiality and integrity • Excellent analytical, data visualization, and communication skills • Detailed knowledge of common information security management frameworks, regulatory requirements and applicable standards such as: NIST, ISO 27001/2, ISO 9001, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI, SOX, etc. • Be articulate, assertive, and persuasive with the ability to use appropriate communication channels, adapting style and approach to suit the audience. • Able to build effective relationships at all levels • Planning and definition capability with a pragmatic approach • Attention to detail, meticulous with a desire to embed security and compliance business-wide • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, confident in dealing across the organization. Strong listening and questioning skills. • Able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders to produce clear policies and processes • Strong analytical and facilitation skills to ensure business needs and effective solutions can be clearly and rapidly understood and delivered. • Highly productive with optimal time management skills • Highly motivated self-starter with high levels of resilience and the ability to succeed in a fast paced, changing environment, working both independently and as a part of a team
