📋 Description

• Chowbus is a fast growing, well-funded food startup headquartered in Chicago on a mission to help diners to discover new and exquisite dishes, and to give traditional mom and pop restaurants a fighting chance to succeed without compromising who they truly are. • The Business Intelligence (BI) organization combines a deep understanding of business strategy and performance with analytical and technical expertise to deliver insights and drive data-driven decision-making across the company. • The Business Intelligence Analyst role is designed for structured thinkers with the technical ability to interpret data and the communication skills to translate insights into actionable strategies for business leaders. • These analysts are curious self-starters who understand the business and leverage SQL, Python, and other tools to conduct data-driven analyses that drive growth and efficiency.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Intelligence, or related field required; master’s degree is a plus • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, or strategy roles, preferably in a SaaS or tech-driven company • Strong proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and Excel (experience with Python or R is a plus) • Deep understanding of SaaS metrics, payment processing, and subscription revenue models is preferred • Experience working with large datasets, data visualization, and statistical analysis • Experience in restaurant technology, fintech, or e-commerce analytics is a plus • Bilingual in Mandarin is preferred
