Description

β€’ Seeking to hire CT licensed behavioral health clinicians to provide community-based therapy. β€’ Therapist will provide remote/tele treatment to clients. β€’ Completes initial behavioral health evaluations; individual, group and family psychotherapy. β€’ Consults with providers regarding treatment plans and progress of patients. β€’ Coordinates with psychiatric consultants for diagnostic and consultative needs. β€’ Attends clinical Team Meetings as assigned. β€’ Meets productivity standards outlined during employee's performance appraisal review. β€’ Encourages clients to express their feelings and develop insight. β€’ Perform crisis interventions and assess immediate safety concerns. β€’ Guide clients in developing skills or strategies for identified goals. β€’ Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical knowledge. β€’ Evaluate effectiveness of ongoing treatment and modify as needed. β€’ Support family members in understanding and assisting clients. β€’ Maintain awareness about new developments in the field. β€’ Gather information about community mental health resources.

Requirements

β€’ Must hold current CT LCSW, LPC, or LMFT License issued by DPH.
