Description

• Program jet print machine. • Program pick and place machines. • Interpret component data sheets and making reflow, MSL or wash adjustments accordingly. • Carry out first article inspections through to complete final product inspections. • Implement continuous improvements projects, with the opportunity to lead your own campaigns. • Schedule upcoming work from the order book and maintain KPIs. • Communicate with customers including: consignment tracking, quality issues or DFM feedback.

Requirements

• 5 years experience within electronics manufacturing in an SMT capacity. • Previously held IPC-A-610 CIS qualification. • Previously carried out NPI activities for an SMT line(s). • Experience of inspecting AOI scans, the quality of others and can disposition non-conforming material. • Proven track record of continuous improvements both in processes and individually. • 10 years experience within electronics manufacturing in an SMT capacity (preferred). • Currently hold a valid IPC-A-610 CIS qualification or currently/previously held CIT qualification (preferred). • History of using Mycronic or Mydata machines and can operate and program them (preferred). • Fulfilling NPI activities using offline Mycronic software such as Factorylogix or MyCamJP and MyCentre (preferred). • History of working in a regulated industry (preferred). • Experience of carrying out DFM or RMA investigations and root cause analysis (preferred).
