• Analyze, underwrite and manage a book of Property and Casualty risks. • Lead a team providing technical guidance and management to underwriters. • Develop and implement strategic underwriting plans. • Build and maintain business relationships with general agents. • Represent the division in internal meetings and events.

Requirements

• Experience underwriting in the Mid-West / West Coast region of the United States required. • Surplus lines Contract Binding Authority underwriting experience preferred. • Recent experience underwriting general liability, property and inland marine required. • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Liberal Arts or a related discipline. • Generally, 6 to 10+ years of related underwriting experience. • Progression toward certification in area of expertise preferred.
