Description

• Clearstory is seeking a senior backend software developer in the Philippines to help build a world-class engineering team. • You will build out a new software category within the massive trillion dollar commercial construction industry. • We have a hands-on culture and expect the same of our developers. • You will work on teams with members from the US and around the world. • As a senior backend Golang developer you will be working on the core feature team. • This includes maintaining shared golang packages and working on the core API. • This cross functional team is directly contributing to the foundation of our SaaS based offering. • There are plenty interesting technical challenges to solve and creative opportunities. • We are currently migrating a monolithic API in Node.js to a more distributed service oriented architecture in Golang. • This is your chance to join a team that is bringing game-changing technology to an underserved part of the commercial construction industry. • As an earlier-stage company, you have the ability to make an immediate impact with a product that already has product market fit.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend web API software development experience using Golang • 5+ years of experience with SQL databases (we use MySQL and Postgres) • Experience writing unit and integration tests • Experience with async jobs and design patterns • Experience with Node.js is a plus • Experience with SDLC processes, Agile, and working with a team of engineers and QA resources
