• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of monthly closing and financial reporting processes. • Lead and enhance monthly closing and financial statement review processes. • Report to the Controller and collaborate across departments. • Oversee the accounting for capital assets, ensuring compliance with GAAP. • Manage the ASC 842 lease accounting process and revenue recognition policies. • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements with variance analysis. • Manage monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet reviews. • Lead processes for fixed asset accounting and serve as primary contact for auditors. • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members. • Design and improve processes for greater efficiency in financial operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • CPA certification is highly preferred. • At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience. • Strong technical knowledge of ASC 606 and ASC 842. • Deep understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation. • Proficient with accounting software, Visual Lease, Thompson Reuters FA, and Microsoft Office Suite. • A detail-oriented, analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
