• Develop features for the ClickHouse core database in C++ • Collaborate with the Cloud engineering team • Improve robustness through tests coverage and QA infrastructure • Help debug advanced issues for the Support Engineering team • Engage with the open-source community for issue resolution and PRs
Requirements
• Solid professional software development experience in C++ • Strong knowledge of database internals and design • Experience with large-scale distributed systems, concurrency, and fault tolerance • Ability to work well within and across engineering teams • Participation in code reviews with attention to detail • Strong problem-solving and production debugging skills • Passion for efficiency, availability, scalability, and data governance • Thriving in a fast-paced start-up environment • High level of responsibility, ownership, and accountability
