Description
• We are excited to be on the hunt for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Head of SEO - Japan • Manage high-traffic websites in the gambling industry • Report directly to the COO of the business • Improve rankings, authority, and build brands on high performing affiliate sites • Create a scalable model to handle new sites coming into the portfolio • Define SEO strategy • Support & guide editorial & product staff • Train, manage, develop, and potentially recruit SEOs for your team • Train & manage Japanese SEOs & editors on SEO best practices • Grow traffic on websites generating six figures in organic monthly revenues • Ensure new website features & product releases are SEO friendly • Skilled in Content production, Link building, Spam AI content • Analyze gaps in link building and generate lists of domains for outreach • Produce competitor and keyword analysis • Conduct technical website audits and troubleshooting • Derive actionable insight from SEO reports • Help to refine & optimize link-building strategies
Requirements
• Strong technical SEO experience, ideally from a competitive industry • An affiliate background is highly preferred • Proven success in developing and implementing SEO strategies with long-term results • Experience managing high-traffic gambling sites • To be capable of thinking commercially but have a 'roll your sleeves up' mentality • Experience in identifying and managing resources when needed (i.e. content), and can demonstrate tangible ranking and commercial growth of websites/projects • Excellent written and spoken skills in English and Japanese
