Description

• At Cloudera, we empower people to transform complex data into clear and actionable insights. • The Cloud Sales Specialist is a critical role within our sales team, exclusively focused on selling Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) - Public Cloud. • This role requires a seasoned sales professional with a deep understanding of cloud technology, sales execution and the ability to influence customer decisions. • As a Cloud Sales Specialist you will be the evangelist helping shape customer decisions to buy and adopt Cloudera Data Platform (CDP). • Drive cloud consumption revenue through sales-led activities such as territory planning, targeted account planning, prospecting and replicating product success at scale. • Understand and leverage advancements in AI and Public Cloud offerings to better serve clients and meet their unique needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 8+ years of exceeding enterprise software sales targets • 4+ years of relevant experience with public cloud solutions • Practical understanding of the usage and value of Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud • Architectural benefits of SAAS, IAAS, and PAAS platforms • Hold one or more certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Foundational Certification • Proven ability to analyze sales data, predict market trends, customer needs, and identify new opportunities for cloud solutions • Fast moving start-up with use case-driven experience • Ability to operate independently in an entrepreneurial environment • Hands-on knowledge of the big data ecosystem, including selling or delivering data warehousing, data engineering, data in motion, operational databases, and/or machine learning technologies • Ability to travel within the region • BA/BS or equivalent educational background
