Description

• Cloudflare is redefining network functions deployment at scale. • As a software engineer on the Magic Platform team, you will design and develop distributed edge services and monitoring. • You will monitor production services and respond to customer escalations and incidents. • We primarily use Go for our control plane services on our distributed edge network.

Requirements

• Expertise with Linux networking internals • Understanding of L2, L3 networking and routing protocols • Userspace networking • Complex nft and iptables rules • Writing code for massively parallelized distributed systems • Experience with various load balancing strategies • Systems-level programming experience, especially in Go • BPF • Strong ability to debug issues in complex systems • Own solutions end-to-end and drive the design, development, and deployment process • Able to work across teams and level common, sustainable solutions • Creative, empathetic, open-minded, collaborative problem solver • Focus on clarity in written and verbal communication
