•CloudLinux is a leading global company specializing in high-volume, low-cost Linux infrastructure and security products. •We prioritize our employees and embrace remote working, ensuring a supportive and collaborative work environment. •We are seeking a talented and motivated Cryptographic Software Engineer to join our team. •This role will provide the opportunity to work closely with experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience in the cybersecurity and cryptographic fields, focusing on compliance and technical excellence. •The Cryptographic Software Engineer will assist in the development, testing, and documentation of cryptographic modules and systems in compliance with Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS). •The role requires a keen attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for cybersecurity and technical documentation.
Requirements
•Proficiency in C/C++. •Experience or knowledge in building RPM packages. •Basic knowledge of mathematics and cybersecurity concepts. •Experience with AlmaLinux, CentOS Stream, or RHEL. •Strong proficiency in spoken and written English. •High attention to detail and ability to work with technical documentation. •A passion for writing and reviewing technical materials. •Experience with debugging tools (e.g., GDB, VS Code). •Familiarity with OpenSSL, NSS, Libgcrypt, GnuTLS. •Cybersecurity certification (e.g., ISC2, CompTIA). •Understanding of cryptographic concepts, including encryption, key exchange, hashing, PKI, entropy, and random number generators (RNGs). •Knowledge of encrypted protocols (e.g., SSH, IPsec, TLS).
