📋 Description
• Lead the design and strategy of our tax division • Manage, mentor, and scale tax department while ensuring budget adherence. • Identify development, team building, and engagement opportunities • Develop and enhance standard operating procedures • Provide tax technical training to staff • Establish and strengthen client relationships • Oversee high-priority clients and review complex tax returns • Recommend tax strategies and solutions to clients supporting business goals • Partner with small business owners to advise on tax planning • Participate in webinars for internal and external clients • Develop and track KPIs and metrics that measure the performance of the tax division • Strategize and support new business opportunities with partners
🎯 Requirements
• CPA required • Bachelor’s degree required • 7+ years of tax return and planning experience required • 3+ years of leadership experience within public accounting required • Experience with a wide range of tax prep and filing, including 990
