Description

• Sprintax, part of Clune Tech, is a web-based tax return preparation software. • We help international visitors with the preparation of their tax returns. • Clune Tech provides international taxation, finance, and fulfillment services to clients worldwide. • Sprintax is seeking to hire a PHP Developer to join their team. • Key Responsibilities include web application development, system architecture, mentoring, and optimizing performance. • Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other developers for seamless integration. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of professional PHP development experience, with a strong focus on object-oriented programming (OOP), RESTful API development, and modern PHP frameworks. • Advanced knowledge of PHP, including experience with PHP 7/8. • Hands-on experience with PHP frameworks like Symfony, Laravel, or Zend. • Strong knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases, with experience in database optimization and query design. • Experience working with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab). • Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Vue.js, React, or Angular is a plus). • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and deployment practices. • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI, etc.). • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. • Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). • Experience with microservices architecture and APIs. • Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools. • Experience with frontend JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) or CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind). • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana. • Experience in eCommerce platforms, CMS, or other content-driven web solutions.
