• About us • Capital Markets Gateway (CMG) is a financial technology firm modernizing ECM. • We connect investors and underwriters via a neutral platform. • Our engineering team consists of domain experts collaborating in cross-domain knowledge sharing. • We are looking for a Data Engineer to build and maintain scalable data pipelines and architecture.
Requirements
• Higher education degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. • Understanding of data modeling, data lakes, and data warehousing concepts. • Deep knowledge of SQL and relational databases, experience with SnowSQL is a plus. • Experience using scripting languages such as Python and shell script for common data processing tasks. • Analytical skills to understand complex requirements, process large volume of information, and design creative solutions. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Experience with Snowflake and Kubernetes is desirable. • Experience with DBT and ARGO is a plus. • Experience working with financial market data, including fundamentals, pricing, and corporate actions, is a big plus. • Some analytics and AI experience is advantageous. • Possibility to work in a US time zone • Must be based in Guadalajara, Mexico • English level - C1 or C2
