Description
• Manage commercial property/casualty claims with moderate to high complexity. • Conduct on-site inspections and resolve claims according to company protocols. • Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with customers and insureds. • Verify coverage and establish timely reserves by reviewing policy language. • Conduct investigations by inspecting loss sites and gathering pertinent data. • Establish and maintain working relationships with work partners and experts. • Authorize claim disbursements within authority limit by determining liability. • Identify and address subrogation opportunities or potential fraud occurrences. • Achieve quality standards on every file by following company guidelines. • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and stay current on insurance laws.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. • Typically a minimum four years of relevant experience, preferably in claim handling. • Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days of hire, where applicable. • Must have and maintain valid driver’s license. • Professional designations are a plus (e.g. CPCU).
