Description

• Oversee and execute all social media efforts • Develop and implement a strategy, manage content, plan campaigns, monitor performance, and engage with the community • Manage "always on" cross-channel content calendars featuring original and curated content • Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and other in-house content creators to produce engaging multimedia content • Grow online community by initiating conversations and responding to comments • Build and maintain partnerships with relevant organizations, influencers, and community groups • Manage ongoing performance reporting that translates platform analytics into actionable insights • Regularly monitor social media trends to inform strategies • Develop social media playbooks, guidelines, and best practices • Promote livestreams, webinars, workshops, and other live events

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience leading large online communities • Proven track record managing cross-channel content calendars • Ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners • Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools • Excellent written and verbal communication and strong presentation skills • [Bonus] Experience managing influencer engagement, social ads, or live events • Experience managing social media advertising strategies and influencer partnerships • Experience promoting and covering live in-person / virtual events • Be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident • Be located in the United States • Pass a pre-employment background check • Be willing to travel a minimum of two times per year for team events
