• Our mission is to scale intelligence to serve humanity. • Cohere is a team of researchers, engineers, designers, and more, who are passionate about their craft. • We are looking for an experienced Design Director to join our team. • This role demands creative ideation, rapid iteration, and a love of craft and polish. • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of brand strategy and visual identity. • Help lead the creative and design process to drive the direction and evolution of the Cohere visual identity.
🎯 Requirements
• 7+ years in design, art direction and/or creative direction, preferably in both startup and larger tech companies. Agency experience is a plus. • Strong portfolio showcasing your design process, problem-solving skills, and the impact of your work. • Proficiency in modern design software including Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite line of products. • Experience in providing feedback and direction to creative partners including photographers, 3d artists, animators, illustrators, strategists, and copywriters. • Experience in directing strategists and copywriters also a plus.
