Description

• Assist with key areas of the company’s tax controllership and compliance processes, focusing most prominently on tax provisioning and financial reporting • Assist with critical balance sheet account reconciliations and supporting schedules • Maintain compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures • Maintain up-to-date process documentation and procedures for all tasks • Provide assistance and support for internal and external audits related to specific areas of responsibility • Support ad hoc financial information requests and analyses and other special projects as assigned • Partner with the greater Coinbase tax and finance teams to advise and consult on tax accounting and compliance matters.

Requirements

• CPA • 5+ years of relevant tax experience • Significant experience with ASC740 including the preparation of complex tax provisions • Broad based technical tax experience • Excellent speaking and communication skills while working with business teams and explaining tax concepts to both tax and non-tax audiences • Outstanding detail-orientation and process-orientation skills • Excellent analytical skills, business partnering, problem solving and prioritization skills • Strong work ethic and team player
