Description

• Performing enhanced due diligence for escalations for existing high risk Retail customer accounts. • Acting in an advisory capacity and as a point of escalation for compliance related questions from the client and support teams. • Assisting in the ongoing remediation of existing accounts to ensure continued compliance with Know Your Customer requirements. • Proactively assisting with small and large scale Compliance projects as required. • Assisting with writing, updating and maintaining EDD policies & procedures. • Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to operationalize and implement new process and procedure updates. • Participating in calls with clients relating to onboarding and enhanced due diligence requirements. • Working with Internal Audit and Compliance Monitoring & Testing teams to ensure controls and procedures are being adhered to.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of AML laws, regulations, and guidelines (e.g., BSA, 5MLD, etc...). • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a compliance or investigations role within the financial services or fintech industries. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Experience working with G Suite applications, Excel, Word. • Flexible and adaptable to the evolving needs of a high-growth and fast paced organization. • Organized with a high level of attention to detail. • Motivated by Coinbase’s mission and values.
