📋 Description
• Providing regulatory and compliance guidance to the Coinbase Bermuda business as it grows and expands. • Support the Coinbase Bermuda CCO & COO on a day to day basis • Assist with the preparation of key compliance reporting and governance deliverables • Establish and develop processes to cater for the expanding Bermudian regulatory environment • Remain knowledgeable of changing industry initiatives. • Monitor the regulatory environment including review & analysis of BMA announcements, reports, and legislative changes • Maintain detailed documentation to demonstrate compliance with regulations and internal policies and procedures • Drive small adhoc targeted projects focusing on elements of the Bermudian compliance program • From time to time provide assistance to the Compliance Department by completing other activities over and above those listed in the duties listing, appropriate to your skills and experience
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years experience in compliance at a BMA Regulated Financial Institution (RFI). • Knowledge of Bermuda compliance and regulatory matters, specifically the Proceeds Of Crime Act, BMA Guidance Notes for AML/ATF • Capacity to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards and ensuring effective time management • Ability to thrive in fast-paced remote environment • Keen interest in digital assets • Team player, willing to tackle tasks large or small • Organized and detail-oriented • Need to be based in Bermuda
