Description

• Improve observability, reliability and availability • Build automation and improve systems • Collaborate with core infrastructure team to optimize cloud deployments • Collaborate with product teams to reduce service disruptions • Analyze reliability problems across business units • Educate and mentor engineering team • Write high quality, well tested code • Debug difficult technical problems • Review all feature designs • Take ownership of security, safety, scale, operational integrity of designs • Build pipelines to integrate with 3rd party vendors

Requirements

• 2+ years of software engineering experience • Designed, built, scaled, and maintained production services • High quality, well tested code • Passionate about an open financial system • Strong technical skills for system design • Excellent written and verbal communication • Skills around observability, debugging and performance tuning • Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts • Strong interpersonal skills with Engineers • Critical thinking under pressure • Willingness to dive into understanding various stack layers
