📋 Description
• Lead and manage the finance and accounting functions for the Brazil region • Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the company’s business objectives.Oversee cash management, budget preparation, forecasting, and financial reporting for the LATAM region • Conduct due diligence and manage post-closing integration for M&A activities • Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and industry best practices • Liaise with external auditors, legal advisors, and tax authorities • Represent the company before investors, financial institutions, vendors, and clients • Build and maintain key relationships with clients, suppliers, investors, and financial partners • Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement • Implement and oversee financial systems and processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • CPA or CMA designation is highly desirable • Extensive experience in a senior finance role within the financial services industry • Proven track record in managing financial operations across multiple countries • Strong understanding of financial transactions, accounting principles, and reconciliation processes • Experience in M&A activities, including due diligence and post-closing integration • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and build relationships with partners and stakeholders • Fluency in Portuguese and English is mandatory; proficiency in Spanish is a plus
