📋 Description

• Collective is on a mission to redefine the way businesses-of-one work. • Helping members by doing their monthly bookkeeping using Xero. • Categorizing transactions • Reconciling your accounts • Preparing monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet • Ensure payroll and tax documents are accurate • Closing your member's books (up to 100 members/month) to prepare for taxes • Communicating with clients via email

🎯 Requirements

• Strong accounting background in functional area with at least three (3) years’ work experience, but preferably, five (5) years. • Experience in working with a US or multinational company. • Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) or equivalent in Accounting from a reputable college or university, preferred. • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), preferred. • Knowledge of US tax, US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley Act, a plus. • QBO and Xero experience is desirable but not essential. Proven record, preferably within medium-large organization • Ability to learn quickly and be proactive in seeking additional challenges. • Demonstrates the ability to communicate information clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing at all levels of seniority, both formally and informally • Contributes fully to an effective team environment; demonstrates willingness to work cooperatively with others to achieve shared goals • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow. • Versatility, flexibility, enthusiasm, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities • The ability to analyze issues and to find resolution to problems by using a rational, systematic approach. • Team player with flexible and committed, can-do approach.
