📋 Description

• The Sr. Functional Solution Architect, Manufacturing & Supply Chain will provide in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics D365 SC application. • Serve as a SME in manufacturing by evaluating customers’ requirements, business processes, and current issues. • Develop models and provide effective solutions offered by Columbus. • Lead the design and architecture of D365 F&O solutions, focusing on Production Control, Master Planning, Inventory Management, and Supply Chain. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand production requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Provide subject matter expertise in manufacturing execution, production scheduling, and shop floor control. • Define best practices for BOM (Bill of Materials), routing, lean manufacturing, and discrete/process manufacturing within D365. • Work closely with development teams to ensure solutions align with Microsoft best practices and industry standards. • Conduct system testing, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and end-user training. • Provide ongoing support and continuous improvement recommendations.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of significant industry experience within manufacturing. • 7+ years of D365 FSC/AX implementation/consulting experience required. • 3 or more Dynamics full life cycle implementations within manufacturing. • Microsoft certifications are highly desirable. • BA/BS in MIS, Computer Science, Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Supply Chain or Logistics preferred. • Expertise in production control, SCM and MRP. • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively meet deadlines. • Excellent demonstration and presentation skills. • A passion for client success and enthusiasm for the products we implement. • Ability to travel to provide services to clients; and nationally 30% or more
