📋 Description
• In Competera, we are building a place where optimal pricing decisions can be made easily. • We believe that AI technologies will soon drive all challenging decisions and are capable of helping humans be better. • We are now looking for a Data Engineer to improve our data processing. • You could be a perfect match for the position if you want to have the freedom to make technical decisions and work on exciting and ambitious tasks. • Support existing ETL pipelines (SQL, Python, GCP stack). • Add new entities to datasets. • Optimize existing bottlenecks (query performance etc.) and close existing tech debt. • Answer data-related questions.
🎯 Requirements
• 2+ years of experience in data engineer role. • Strong SQL knowledge: your SQL queries are to be efficient and self-explanatory (this will be the biggest part of work). • Basic knowledge of core Python, followed by hands-on experience with it. • Experience in optimizing SQL queries. • Familiarity with Cloud. • English level - Upper-intermediate +. • Pleasant extras: Experience in building data pipelines, ETL design Apache Spark will be a big plus, Databricks platform. • Familiarity with Apache Airflow. • Experience with different SQL/NoSQL databases (PostreSQL, ClickHouse, etc.). • Soft skills: Problem solving, Critical thinking, Ability to work independently, Curiosity, Disciplined, Multi-tasking.
