Description

• As a Software Engineer at Compound Planning you will build and maintain software systems to deliver a magical experience to financial advisors and clients. • Work in a collaborative agile team with other engineers, product managers and designers. • Build high quality, performant and maintainable software in a timely manner. • Create and contribute to a sustainable, scalable, and secure system architecture. • Actively participate in the team’s software development process.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience delivering high quality software • Deep technical expertise in one or more languages • Solid understanding of fundamental computer science principles and software engineering best practices • Strong communication and collaboration skills with peers and other team members • Desire to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment where projects and priorities evolve quickly • An ability and willingness to learn, adapt, and grow! • Bonus Points: Strong grasp of modern, lean, web-application technologies • Familiarity creating integrations with external data sources and/or world class data visualizations • Previous Fintech experience • Experience with tools like NodeJS, React, NextJS, Postgres and AWS services • Experience with CI/CD • Building, optimizing and integrating AI systems
